Tradey lists lead-capture, receptionist, and customer-support bots for small service businesses. To be listed, a bot has to meet the standards below. We review every submission by hand, and we can remove a listing that stops meeting them. These standards describe how we review bots. They are not a guarantee of any bot's performance.
1. Verified results
Every performance claim (calls answered, leads captured, appointments booked, tickets resolved, response time) has to come with evidence we can check, like anonymized logs, a reproducible demo, or a reference customer.
For receptionist and booking bots, the strongest evidence is a recording of a real call that ends in a confirmed booking on a live calendar, shared with the caller's consent and with personal details removed. A transcript or a scripted demo alone counts for less.
Results have to say how they were measured: the time period, sample size, and what counts as a "lead" or a "resolved" ticket.
A working demo or trial must be available for review.
2. Data handling
A plain-language statement of what customer data the bot collects, where it is stored and processed, and how long it is kept.
A list of the third-party services and AI model providers the bot sends data to.
A way for the business to export and delete its data and its customers' data.
Reasonable security: data encrypted in transit, access controlled, and no collection of payment card numbers or sensitive health data unless the bot handles it lawfully and says so.
Bots that talk to the public have to say they are automated when asked, and have to follow applicable call-recording, texting, and consent rules.
3. Honest claims
No claim of guaranteed revenue, rankings, or outcomes.
Pricing is shown up front, including usage-based costs and what the buyer has to supply (for example, their own model API keys).
Known limits are disclosed: languages, hours, integrations, and when the bot hands off to a human.
No fake reviews, testimonials, or endorsements.
4. Builder identity and support
A verified builder contact and a support channel with a stated response time.
A way to reach the builder about problems or takedown requests.
